    nanocom 1 how to?

    on a nanocom 1 on a 2001 td5 cant get srs lights out any help available pls .its sending me mad

    What firmware is your Nano mk1 on? Need Rev 2.06 to be able to access the SRS ECU.

    Need a Nanocom Programmer in order to apply the latest upgrades. Either buy it from BBS or find who's got one in your area and volunteers to 'do you'...

    Raise a thread titled along these lines "Have Nano Mk1 need programmer to update - I'm in xxx area" and see what responses you get.

    Then just read SRS ECU fault codes. These are typically related to lack of continuity (aka 'open circuit'). With this info at hand should be able to find & fix the problem.

    2.05 not 2.06

    sorry ive got 2.05 not 2.06 got no hope til i upgrade yes/no?

    Coverage for SRS / Autobox / Motronic (V8) was introduced with upgrade release 2.06

    horrah got 2.07 now fault found and soon to be fixed stuffed seat belt pretensioner causing open circuit thanks to all that helped

    Seen this before, look for bad contact within the yellow connector underneath the seat (either C0252 or C0254 depending on side).
