I emailed Bearmach in the UK last night , their email response time is very fast.
the guy could not explain why I am get this problem and asked if I would like to try the software update to version 5.
But me being in Australai caused a missed opportunity so I had to by the upgrade cable to do it. I'm waiting for support in UK to email me back with the new serial code.
I tried it on a TD5 last night and the unit worked ok. Hope my EMS is not stuffed, as it gives connection errors from the plug, I tried a spare Hawkeye cable and got the same symptoms., seems to be something on my vehicle is the problem unfortunately.
