Input data not woking on new nano com evo?

I recently bought a Nanocom evo for my motronic V8.
I wanted to check live data whilst driving, so I select motronic then select the input data I get the screen but no info, the graph buttons don't work and it just freezes and I can't do anything unless I unplug it.
All other functions work, also the test button says everything is ok

I know the diagnostic socket is good as when I connect hawkeye, it gives me live data.

Wonder if I'm doing something wrong or there is a glitch in Nanocom?
maybe BBS guy might have some insight?

    I contacted support at nanocom.
log into restricted area and download the lastest firmware and do an update of the firmware. They reckon this will fix the freezing.
I assumed since i bought mine during the Christmas break it would have already had the firmware upgrade installed.
I'm doing it this moment and will report back .

    Hi,

I have downloaded the update file. It states that you must open the help file first.
    Have tried unsuccessfully.

    How are you progressing?

The update is in a zip file, unzip it and open the folder created, there is a HTML helpfile.
I'm in constant email contact with support they reply around this time every evening so will try an get mine going and report back success .
    or failure.
