Despite the early concerns and reservations from existing owners as to what would ultimately become of the Nanocom once BBS took it over in January 2011, time has however proved and show that this was probbly the best thing that coud have ever happened to to the Nanocom.

Not only did the Nanocom benefit from the vast years and wealth of experiance BBS had, and so was quickly bought up to the same high standards, it also got a BBS style make over too.

Amazingly the cost of doing this was totally absorbed by BBS and so the low cost aspect that made the Nanocom so infamous and desirable was maintained.

Currently nothing offers anwhere near the same "Bang per Buck" as the Nanocom does.

So congratulations MarknDeb, you have made a very wise choice and will certainly not be dissapointed.

Thanks for that Colin, i have been reading a lot of your posts aswell as the help you have provided owners of nanocoms on this forum so we decided it would be a wise choice.

Once again thankyou for the homesty of the BBS side as when i purchased the Nanocom i selected Austria as my country and not Australia, i recieved an email saying i would recieve a refund for the difference in currancy, iam sure there would be companies out there that would have kept the difference and said nothing.

As all the others i really look forward to the nanocoms arrival ( i can not say so i can play because that would not sound rite) but you know what i mean.

    Regards
    Mark

My Nanocom is on it's way thanks to the efforts of Hayley who rang me twice, and Victoria.
There was a strange problem with my card address even though I copied it exactly from the banks website but that was resolved by moving the postcode from one place to another in the address!
Seems to me that service like BBSs is hard to find and many thanks to Colin's staff.
Now I can go bush with a bit more confidence.
    Cheers.
    Alan.

It was Victoria that sent me the message RE the refund so it looks like she is on the ball. I love the shipping address for Tasmania with DHL

Destination Service Area: VICTORIA STATE OUTLYING AREAS - VICTORIA STATE OUTLYING AREAS - AUSTRALIA

DHL must not recognize Tasmania as a state with in Australia

aswell as the help you have provided owners of nanocoms on this forum
thankyou for the homesty of the BBS side
It's only by being totally honest and transparent in all respects, and of course a true belief in what you do being the best you can in any situation that really allows me to publicly interact with all owners and members on a forum such as this. No body is perfect, but that really is no reason not to try

But it really is a two way street.
I promise you there was a time when things may well have turned out very differently for the Nanocom, if it were not for the amazing amount of support and help i got from so many fine members of this forum in particular.

This makes it especially satisfying when we ship a system to Australia and even more so when it is to a Member of this board.

A did get to hear about the problems you had Alan. Thanks for hanging on in there and giving Victoria and Hayley a fair chance to figure out why the CC company was being such a PITA.

Unfortunately CC companies in general get quite pedantic when it comes to overseas transactions. As this is often the first time many use their cards in this way, it's often the first time card users experience usage problems and so naturally imagine it is our fault.

My Admin staff are pretty used to this by now and quite experienced and capable with sorting things out, but this can often be very frustrating and annoying for the customer. Gkad you got sorted in the end

MarknDeb, DHL may be a little clueless as to many aspects in regards to
Tasmania, but as for Tazmania, i should tell you that Victoria is actually quite a fan.

She actually has a stuffed Tazmanian Devil sitting on her cars rear parcel shelf and carpets and seat covers with it on also.

    just so you know

    Cheers to all

Since the Nanocom Evoution has replaced the Nanocom one, with greater ease of use and so much more, and is now provided in a very highly desirable, ultra slim aluminium extrusion (Metal) case, can i ask you to be more specific regarding your "wish for" statement fatman.
