I would of said it was the valve on the modulator that has faulted
Is the error current or has it just occurred in the past?
Might be a good idea to change fluids if they haven't been done for a long time.
Don't think it would be a wheel sensor with that error
The diagnostic codes usually reflect the problem, so I'd concur with Duane and say it is the RHS inlet valve in the ABS Modulator.
I'd start out by checking that the connections between the SLABS ECU and modulator are ok. It is possible for the contacts in the plugs to corrode, back out of the plug housing or even just get dirty. The signal line for the RHS Inlet Solenoid runs from C0506-5 at the SLABS ECU to C0501-12 at the Modulator on a Slate/Green wire.
I've attached extracts from various resources on the RAVE cd which cover modulator wiring, connector views, and pin-outs for the ECU connectors. If you haven't got yourself a copy of the full RAVE CD yet (don't waste your time with the downloadable workshop manual pdf), it pretty much essential if you want to get the best out of a diagnostic tool.
Thanks for the heads up!
I'll add this to my new bigger list of things to fix!!, the Airs suspenion pumps has just given up the ghost, Ive not long fixed the pump motor brush earth spring that snapped due to a little rust,....
Time for the big decission, repair/replace Air susp
The factory air spring system is great for weight distubtion and height control, not sure weather to just go to HD springs alround for 4x4 reliability
here in Australia, it seems to be all the go for off roaders, what are your recommendations?
