I overcame a sticky primary turbo actuator that caused very restricted performance 200 kms from the nearest dealer by clearing the ecm fault codes, albeit a number of times before having total success by clearing them with the engine running then revving the engine immediately. I concluded the condition from the engine's behaviour in conjunction with the codes so overcome by more than simply clearing the codes, but if you have a tool then perhaps someone else can help you even if you don't have sufficient knowledge.
PS The dealer later agreed with my diagnosis from the codes.
