    Nanocom Evo 2 Backlighting

    HELP.
I know its a simple location, but having some time ago reduced the backlighting on my Evo, do you think I can now remember where the menu is to return the lighting to full strength? I've scanned the documentation (yes I have most of it in paper form) but "the eyes don't have it".
I'm pretty sure I did it in car rather than whilst connected to my pc.

    Connect NANOCOM to plug
    From Main Menu Configuration
    select NANOCOM icon
    then select SETUP
now looking at bottom of screen push right hand (green) arrow to get to next menu
then select DISPLAY icon , then you can adjust and save your back light.

Or if you want to leave it dim and occasionally increase the brightness you can perform a long press - say about 5-8 seconds - when on the Instrument screen.

The unit will beep (I think. Mine has been modified with an LED in place of the speaker).

And on your screen you'll have the same brightness 'slider' that you reach with the menu sequence outlined in the previous post.

Adjusting the brightness this way is not permanent - it will only stay where you've adjusted it to until the unit powers off.

I have mine set to full brightness for daytime driving and usually take it back to only a few steps above the minimum for longer night drives. One day there'll be night/day option that pops up when you do that long press - Colin and his crew will deliver!
