    Thanks Colin,

When I initially looked for the BBS email address I couldn't find it, hence the email directly to you via AULRO. I subsequently had another look and located the BBS email and received a very quick reply, including an RMA form and number.
So all is underway to be repaired.

I guess I must have pressed the screen a bit harder than normal. I also pressed it, as usual, in the middle of the screen which may have contributed to the cracking - maybe I should touch closer to the side when switching on in the future.

Anyway, with the time I've spent searching Nanocom related topics during the last few days, I've learnt a few other things about the capabilities and operation of the unit. I still haven't found a User Guide but now that I know one exists I'll have a thorough search.

Thanks again - I still think the Nanocom is a great unit and will continue to recommend them to friends.

    Thanks for the link 'Offtrack'

Looks like I've got a bit of reading to do.

I've just been in touch with DHL (BBS's preferred courier) and freight costs are pretty expensive.
I was wondering if, once you've got your RMA, you'd like to ship them together? PM me your contact details if you're interested.

Xtreme, i gather you managed to hook up with mfc as i saw your two units come in together last week. congratulations on your collaboration, I certainly hope you managed to save quite a bit on the to and from postage fees.

In recognition of your efforts, and to add my bit, you might notice that i also had the work done for you both as a single repair, meaning that instead of each unit being billed for the minimal hours labor, both were done in the same hours labor.

Thanks Colin, the service and communications from BBS has been excellent and the surprise of you having them both repaired at once and only charging the one repair cost was much appreciated by both Mark (mfc) and myself. Sharing the shipping costs just made sense especially considering the exorbitant rates charged by DHL, especially at the Australian end - 2.5 times the Cyprus rate. Although they do seem to give good service and are easy to deal with.

At present the Nanocoms are still in the hands of DHL with a "clearance delay" at LARNACA - CYPRUS.

Looking forward to getting my hands on it again and utilising more of its capabilities that I am still discovering - they are an amazing little unit. The only time I've really needed to use it (apart from simply monitoring performance) was when I had oil in the injector harness - the Nanocom enabled me to detect exactly which injector was not firing properly and therefore saved much time by going to and repairing the problem very quickly.
