In order to lower the appropriate corner valves must be opened at the same time as the exhaust pilot valve. I suspect there's a fault code stored for the pilot exhaust valve being open circuit.

Hi folks and all fixed.
I had a thread running on fullfat and last night was supplied with additional help.
One suggestion was to remove the Brass Silencer, which I found a bit of a strange idea.
Worked a treat.
I removed the silencer and started the motor and the RR dropped to road height.
With the motor still running, I reinstalled the silencer and the suspension failed again.
Removed the silencer again and let the RR go through a shutdown and as soon as I started, it worked perfectly.
I took the RR for a short test drive at 10-30 pm last night and all seemed well.
I took the RR for a good drive this morning and it’s suspension performed perfectly, for the first time since I bought the RR.
While Land Rover’s warranty response is an absolute joke, I am very thankful for the great people who drive Land Rovers.
Thanks again.
Tim, that is so day javoo of how you spell it. I recall being the frustrated one and you calmly walked me over Mount Everest to where all is well.
Good on Graeme and yourself for getting it sorted. I hope the RR now claws back some of the fun of owning a LR.

Since you appear to have the problem fixed, I though I would now chime in.
I think a dual battery install in any of these new Rovers is an absolute necessity and particularily one that is often parked. These things seem to need volts, at least 14 of them and all the time.
I figured this might be the classic shoemaker story where his children go shoe less; hence I wondered if your RR sported a dual battery setup.
Maybe not suspension concerns, but I think it prevents radio problems as well as all those false warning lights that just pop up for no reason.
Over here, where -40C in the winter is routine, I credit your kit with keeping the red and yellow warning lights in my 3 at bay and the nasty messages centre asleep.
Also, what is a Brass Silencer?
