    are any of these devices available for the 2.2L Defenders yet?

    I had this message from ebay vendor blackboxsolutions

    I can confirm that the release will be soon, hopefully before Easter, the advice that we are telling people today is to buy the puma 2.4 and once the release is confirmed you can update your Nanocom for free, yes free, there will be no charge for existing defender puma 2.4 users you will then have coverage for 2.2 and 2.4 pumas.

    Agreed I think nanocom is the best portable device on the market.Lynx looks good but not portable enough.

    I am placing my order fora Nanocom to suit my 2008 2.4l Defender 130. In e-mails back and forth they have told me that the 10% AULRO discount is still applicable and the quoted price of $402 AUD includes the complete kit for your vehicle, all leads and unlock codes are included for the Defender Puma.

    I have noted in this forum that there is a listing for fault codes for a number of Land Rovers but cannot find any listing for the 2.4 Defender.

    I would Appreciate any information on this matter and any other advice on what to do to get this unity ready to take on an upcoming remote desert trip.
