Trouble with my Nanocom
Plugged it into vehicle hit gems far as it went, BECM locked !!!
Wont read anything, EAS nothing.
Connected it to my PC. Checked Id's, unlock codes, all correct.
Tapped on Gems, locked. nothing. No demo's of any sort.
WhenI first got the Nanocom and set it up all worked, I was able to run the demo's and become familiar with it.
At the time I plugged it into the vehicle and turned off the immobiliser and alarm. Great.
Now useless.
Could the unlock codes have been changed at BBS ?
I cant even sign on there as I cant remember my user name. GRRR
Turn on engine and it displays an EAS fault.
EAS klicker wont clear it.
I have $300 worth of new second hand valve block and Oring repair kits in the mail but when I install it into the vehicle it will be useless as it will still have the EAS fault. GRRR.
Any Ideas ?
Christ I hate this bloody p38.
I cant thro it to buggery as ME DISCO is in bits for maintenance and I need wheels.
Might have to morgage the fracking house and buy a PRADO.
GRRR.

All good now. I had to reinstall one of the unlock codes.
Interesting developement and something to ponder.
When I first got this Nanacom last year I recieved the ID and unlock codes and I installed them successfully. I then used it plugged into the P38 a number of times before putting it away untill now.
At the time I took a screen capture of the unlock codes as a safety for future reference I also wrote them onto a piece of paper to keep seperatly.
Then it would not work the other day as I mentioned in my first post.
I reinstalled these same unlock codes twice but Nanacom still would not work.
Then I went into the restricted BBS area and looked up my ID and unlock codes.
Whalla, I found that in the first unlock code the first and third letter was different than those I had been using successfully earlier ?
I inserted this new code yesterday and now the unit works fine and I plugged it into the P38 and cleared the EAS fault codes and checked abit and also found that the rear airbag valves were staying open, Which would mean a slow leak. All this should be rectified when I overhaul the valve block.
The main point here is the alltered unlock code ?
I expect there will be those that will say it could not happen but it did.
Damned if I know how or why.

When scanning for faults, three types of diagnoses are reported: 1 No faults; 2 Error code found; 3 Unable to communicate with the ECU. But in my scanner, only the session SRS returns no message. Does anyone know if it is normal? ImageUploadedByTapatalk1409061971.799385.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1409061988.444285.jpg

That screen with no errors showing means just that. That the ECU has no faults recorded in it.

ok, but a pop up window should not appear before stating: "no faults found"? in other sessions are pop up window appears.
