Nanocom log file - thought I'd show you guys a sample!

So I thought I'd show everyone a sample of the "live data logging" file that the Nanocom can produce. I'm sure many of you have used and seen these plenty of times, but I'm just experimenting with them

Feel free to have a look over, let me know if you see anything unusual if you've fiddled with these before!

    For record, it's a TD5 Auto, with TD5inside Stage 1 map & boost box.

And if you're wondering about the speed, I was in a 110km/h zone ok?

Thanks for posting. How long was the recording to get that data? Also what boost are you running on it with your tune? I see you have a boost box, so I assume more then 20 psi?

I'd say 5-10min of recording, just a simple squirt round the place. I mainly wanted to check things like my MAF readings. Seems they are within check based on the 55 at idle, 500+ full load.

To be honest, and this is really bad, but I don't really know what boost I'm running.
The file shows 170kpa as a max which is around 24psi, but I'm not sure whether I take away anything for atmospheric pressure to be honest?

OK thanks again. I would like to do a recording as well and post it up and have someone who knows how to decipher it, let me know, if everything is all good. I think I might boost mine to about 20 psi now. I've got a stage 2 remap and bigger intercooler. I wonder if an extra 5 psi will be noticeable?

Keen to see the difference, not sure how PC savvy you are but if you have trouble getting the file readable let me know and I can point you through it.

Would be good to see the difference between stage 1 and 2. I've also got a D2a intercooler - sounds like pretty similar setups and close by!

Throw up a reading of just a light cruise, and then a heavy acceleration and we'll compare ok go do it now!!!

I'll give it a go tomorrow and post the results. I might even wind the boost up a bit if I get a chance.

    Cheers

I went for a run and recorded it using the nanocom. I've put the SD card in the computer and it tells me I need to format it I've recorded stuff on there before so I don't know what's going on with it.
I'll try another SD card tomorrow.

That's strange! Yeh give another one a shot and see how it goes I guess? I'm not too familiar with the SD cards and compatibility etc

    Hi xaymaca
The nanocom wont give a true boost reading while your boost box is connected as it caps the input to the ecu to avoid the overboost protection.
And you do have to subtract the ambient to calculate the actual boost.

Also nice work on the live data, I will have to get around to doing that myself one day.
