But how much fuel did you fill in the tank cos i presume you relied on the fuel level warning which can come on with plenty of fuel left in tank too, and the consumption can be seriously increasd by bigger tyres, roof rack, much load in the vehicle, friving style, etc

Fair questions, I always fill up with very close to 85L. That's filler neck to light coming on. Have a bullbar, 245/70-16 (5% larger). So that would be around 12.5L/100km.
I can driving with 'spirit' at times, but then I get 500km to 85L. I hear of people getting 800km+ to 85!

    Exclamation

I'm running 265 75 16 mud tyres at the moment. I've got an ARB bar with winch. I've also got cross bars with an awning on the side and a dual battery set up. Driving to and from work I'm averaging about 13.5L per 100 according to my fuel log app. Or about 570km to a tank. I know that my speedo reading is out by about 8% so that might change the readings a bit. I would of thought it may have been a bit better then that fuel economy wise.

I've also got the stage 2 map from Td5 alive. On the freeway it is a lot better. I can average around 11.5L per 100. I do find that mine is very gutless up the hills though. It slows down quite a lot. I think it maybe my torque convertor not locking up sometimes. Power wise it is very good on the flats but uphill it struggles. May just be the bigger tyres I don't know. Would be interesting to hear some thoughts on it.

    Cheers

    Chris
