Thread: nanocom 1 problem

Hi Guys


Been trying to read the map file on my disco td5 but the nanocom does not complete the reading, keeps saying no communication with ecu. This can happen at different stages and has only completed the reading once in about 20 attempts. I am wanting to re map using a td5 inside re map but I dare not try this with the current situation, fear of it losing contact with the ecu during re writing. Can anyone please advise?

Hi,
Try to connect a battery charger to the car some time before using Nanocom and while you use it.
Other way, is feed Nanocom from a wall outlet, or if no way to do that, using a small inverter feeded from car battery.
