    All down to the Angle of the Dangle, wind direction, Luck of the draw or whatever else you might like to call it.

    The reality is that the 15 Way D connector on the nanocom is not designed for what they call "Hot Plugging" hence we recommend making the OBDII connection last, which is designed for this.

    In not following this advice, fractions of a millmeter will dictate the result from no problem through sparking, blowing Vehicle fuses to the extreme and rare but very real possibility of permanatetly damaging a Nanocom.

    At but the click of my fingers, as the Owner of BBS I could get my own personal vehices OBDII fuse replaced or even another Nanocom pulled from stock, but even I adhere very strictly to a policy of ensuring I connect and dissconect the OBDII conector first.

    It is after all not some difficult rocket science.
