P38 Air Suspension - Brisbane Area

    Folks

Well I know I'm not Robinson Crusoe but I have assembled a number of useful EAS tools and I am more than happy to help out anyone in Brisbane having EAS problems.

    I have the following.....
    - EAS fault read, unlock and recalibrate tools and custom cable
    - Manual EAS controller (bypass ECU altogether)
    - Ability to rebuild / renew valve block
    - spare swap out valve block if needed

Could help save someone a few bucks.

Feel free to send me a PM

I think you and I need to get together for a few brews and bring your air suspension ride with you and I'll look at doing some mods and installs to your tank to enable you to also fix/Diagnose the Us aircompressor problem.

Its been on the cards for a while but no-ones voulenteering their vehicles for me to climb around on.

(and I wouldnt mind cloning your controller kit to add to my box o tricks)

Dave, I like your idea of getting some valve stems from split rims tubes to use on the tank.

Does anyone have any old tubes from which they'd like to cut the valve stems as sell them to me?

If any of this applies to the D2 SLS system, then I'm happy for you to use my truck for your research.

I've just replaced both the Airsprings, and was wondering if I could replace the std compressor with a larger one that could also be used for tire inflation, etc.

ok for those interested I'll lay this sunday on for air suspension work, namely checking out the layout for plugging in external compressors and pressure gauges (might even be able to lay in a free kit.)

Pm me using AIR suspension as the topic if your interested.

I reckon I can spare a couple of hours on Sunday to participate in this exercise.

I will have my 6 YO son with me, but that should not be a problem.

    PM sent as well.

Ty for the offer Ron but Im acually after vehicles so I can plan out hose routings for remoting the air pressure up to the engine bay so that anyone can quickly and easily get air back into the system and then disable it.

The first part will only take about 20 minutes or so and the rest will be spent experimenting with fuse pulling and cable trickery.

If time then permits Im going to drop the shielding off of the aircomp and see if I cant find a way of putting a compressor in that draws its air from the air inlet Afer the filter, putting a better compressor somewhere else (like an insulated box with a battery+dual battery system) or putting a better compressor inside the engine bay.

For the P38A, that's fairly easy. The compressor and valve block are in the engine bay. See EAS Override

Sounds like you'll need an air-suspended Classic for this weekend.
