ABS Amegio New box

Any help would be much appreciated

Is there any body on the Gold Coast with a nanocom who could turn my light off, $45 a pop is starting to hurt.

Exactly I would like my lights off before the long week end,
Ther seems to be a new box out and am trying to find out about it

I notice that yours is V8.... Nanocom is TD5 specific.

That said I can't see why it shouldn't still talk to the SLABS ECU. ( I never tried min on a V8.. I guess Pete might help us find out )

Reading about the ABS Amegio... they want near US$200 plus delivery..

That's close to half what a Nanocom would cost that does SO much more than just resetting the 3 amigoes.!

Im not sure if the scanguageII will do the ABS as well - but it's a similar price and will do all your engine codes etc - similar to the Nanocom I believe. Might be worth looking into.

That said I have never used one - the only diagnostic tool I've had hands on experience with is the Nanocom.

Anything electronic (including this computer) is a bad area for me to dabble in, all the info I can get on the right product to purchase helps me out.

Well spotted. I cant do it if its a v8. I have already tried to access the BCU/ABS stuff on a v8 as a test and it wont let you initalize the ecu.
