It was a 300 series.
As I pointed out before, the Grenadier isn't any sort of Vee as far as I know!
There was also a RAM suffering the same predicament.
In fairness it was very hot, and even with engine management reducing power, you can still do some decent damage when 45+ if you try and drive through the pain....
As i said,they had issues,but nothing(that i can see)directly relating to the hot V setup.
6.4 Powerstroke Problems – Prosource Diesel
Pretty nice video review by Sam (ex defender owner). Like me he thinks the big issue is the price. It puts them into direct competition with established players like New Defender, LC300, Patrol etc. They are all a bit different, but it's still a big issue.
Charging us more for less is always going to be hard slog. The original defender charged less for less which was part of it's appeal.
2005 Defender 110
I saw two yesterday, fawn or sandy coloured, on a transporter,M1 heading south.
First glance i thought they were Defender 110s![]()
Hmmm... just out of curiosity, is there a chance that I saw a Grenadier in Brisbane this morning? More specifically, on James Street in the Valley. I saw what I initially took to be a charcoal coloured Puma approaching and then... it all looked a bit different...and then was gone....
Well, James Street is the epicentre of Yuppyville.
