That is beautiful. The colour is amazing!
Looks in great condition, definitely one to have jumped on. I can’t deal with the whitewalls, but that’s just my taste.

Had one of these for 2 years..was a great car to drive and the wife loved it..drove it to school everyday. Being much younger I tested out it's handling and was amazed how good a drift car it was☺

Used to belong to a UK business and was chauffeur driven so I was told. The jag also prepared me well for LRs with many issues I could not afford to manage..so it had to go to a better home..ending up with a tech entrepreneur who spend a small fortune on it!

It even won a concours de elegance with my first home respray ..British racing green of course!

I miss that car soooo much😐

And a bucket of used teabags you can throw at the less fortunate, as you cruise past them in cosseted comfort, with a bellowed "Get away from my Jag, you teabagger!"

Had a series II v12 in my earlier years. Drank unbelievably. So decided to drop in the mild (mmm) 350 sbc and t400 tranny. Left everything else stock hub caps , exhaust tips etc. But boy did it up a smile on my dial when I'd leave my follow motorists at the lights.

Not sure where in Vic you are but if you’re close enough maybe we could take the Jags out for a run together one fine day...

Yeah, the white walls wouldn’t have been my first choice either, but I don’t hate them. Given that they are brand new, I’ll have to live with them for a while yet.

There are still a lot out there with the 350 Chevy in them - It was a common conversion back in the day like a Holden red motor is to a series. I test drove one and it went very well, but the overall condition wasn’t close to this one.

Havent even looked to see what fuel consumption figures are on the 4.2 - I’m guessing not great, but I run 2 V8 Land Rovers as well so fuel usage wasn’t high on my list of priorities. 😁

I’ll do what I do with the 101 - fill it up and enjoy driving it until I need to find another servo. 👍

That’s one of the first things I want to fix when I get it home. Hoping it is something electrical and not a tank with a hole in it, etc but given the overall condition of the vehicle, I think it’s just electrics. Also been told the switch inside fails too. I’ll try banging the fuel pump first. 👍😁
