Light plane crash near Taree, 2 dead

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

An article I found this morning says it was a Cessna 310.

Been a bad few weeks for light plane crashes, with the 210 in West Australia and another 210 in Darwin a few weeks ago.

No post-impact fire. Fuel exhaustion or starvation? Who knows.....

The 310 has a finicky fuel system that can involve transferring wing locker tank fuel (make sure you've burned enough out of the mains first or it vents). Same goes for using fuel from the AUX tanks. Once selected, excess fuel from them returns to the mains and can also vent overboard if the mains are full.

So you have to think about it and not just transfer/switch tanks. Otherwise to can effectively 'dump' fuel that you might need later.
