    More Lift

Hey guys have any of you done a 2" lift using those spacers and used raised coil springs as well or would it cause stress to other parts?

Umm, if you want to go off road and need a bit more ground clearance, maybe you need a Defender ?

    Yes....and it does a bit.

Read my sticky: Freelander 1 Bearmach lift kit

I have sold the vehicle but retain both positive and negative memories regarding the lift. With 50mm lift and some decent A/Ts you can do a lot with a Freebie.

    Summary:
For low stress and probably no issues, stick with a 35mm lift and go a little oversize on tyres.
If you don't mind some minor issues then go to 40mm.
If you can cope with some dramas then go with 50mm, but then probably wish you had stayed with 40mm.

I'm fairly pedantic but you should be able to make your own judgement from the thread.
