    Freelander Tyres

Seeking advice from you experienced people out there.
My Freelander (2001 model) is currently running on Michelin Syncrone P225/55R17 and I have been told the tyres are 8 years old and the vehicle has done 87000k's and I find that amazing. The tyres have just about had it and I need to replace them sometime soon.

I have had these quotes from the local JAX dealer here in Lake Macquarie.
    1) Maxxis $230 each.
    2) Bridgestone $260 each.
    3) Michelin $330 each.

I very rarely go off road and as you can see from the tyres on the vehicle at the moment, it has been set up for maximum comfort on road. ( I bought the vehicle for purposes other than heavy duty off roading).

Can anybody advise on a good tyre (I think the Synchrones would be hard to beat) and also a good price?

Unless the tyres were replaced when the car was near new, then they're not the original tyres as Synchrones were never 'factory fit'.

    Now, onto your question.......

A bit off topic but LR have one brand new Pirelli Scorpion S/T in that size for around $190 if anyone's interested.

    Factory Fit

That is correct Scouse, the wheels and tyres are aftermarket and it gives the vehicle an "individual" look.
