Just bought wife slightly used Freelander SD4 (3000k). Very disappointed with the sound quality from the "Meridian" sound system. So bad that I have contacted Meridian9 (highly respected UK Hi Fi firm) asking why they would put their name to such bad sounding system. Also CC'd LR who referred me to the dealer. Service manager (Ex LR UK) said that the speakers are Meridian but the head unit is LR's.

Anybody else noticed this? Or is it that I am a bit more tuned in having been a recording engineer for 40 years?
