If this is about hooking a trailer with LED lights onto a new car creating problems with the flashers and generally not recognizing that a trailer is attached there might be a cheaper option than being discussed here.
My Volvo XC70 had such a problem when I changed my boat trailer over to LED lights - flashers glowed continuously and the car didn't recognise the trailer when indicating.
The solution suggested by a local auto electrician was to get either the dash indicator lights from an old Commodore or a couple of cheap circuit bulbs from Jaycar and wire them inside the trailer's plug with a wire each to the earth wire and the other wire to each of the indicator circuit wires. Wrapped in insulation tape they don't generate much heat but provide enough resistance to let the car's circuit know that it has a trailer attached.
Been working just fine for about 4 years now and cost about $2.
Cheers
