    $615 installation works out at about 4-5 hrs of dealer time.

    If LR trained technicians can do it in that time (shut up DB ), then surely you can do it over a day or so.

    I would imagine the front bar/grille comes off then the 'bar' is mounted up & the whole lot refitted.


    Put on a BBQ lunch & you might even get a few of us around to give you a hand .

    free installation for food & beer???? sounds good

    indeed, dealer said it takes about 4 hours, hence the price for installation....and yes they have to remove the front grill and replace with the plastic bar

    still thinking about it ...... I don't need it at this time but if I did I would probably order from UK, I don't think shipping would be $300, so I should save something in the end?

    hahahhahah Shipping from the uk is a bigger killer than the states

    I dont think you have really looked into this have you

    I would lay a bet that it would be cheaper from the states than the UK
    Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......

    yeap, shipping from UK is sooooo expensive, i got a quote along with some other things I want to buy for LR for about AU$500..... so expensive.

    Will have to check with US dealers and I'll try the guy in Adelaide, thanks for that
