Front Bar - legal or not?

$615 installation works out at about 4-5 hrs of dealer time.

If LR trained technicians can do it in that time (shut up DB

), then surely you can do it over a day or so.

I would imagine the front bar/grille comes off then the 'bar' is mounted up & the whole lot refitted.

Put on a BBQ lunch & you might even get a few of us around to give you a hand

.

indeed, dealer said it takes about 4 hours, hence the price for installation....and yes they have to remove the front grill and replace with the plastic bar

still thinking about it ...... I don't need it at this time but if I did I would probably order from UK, I don't think shipping would be $300, so I should save something in the end?

hahahhahah Shipping from the uk is a bigger killer than the states

I dont think you have really looked into this have you

I would lay a bet that it would be cheaper from the states than the UK

Think again - you will be surprised how expensive - even with sea freight.

yeap, shipping from UK is sooooo expensive, i got a quote along with some other things I want to buy for LR for about AU$500..... so expensive.

Will have to check with US dealers and I'll try the guy in Adelaide, thanks for that
