    FL2 Owners - check your flaps!

    Lift the bonnet, follow where the water from around the wipers runs to each side.

    It runs into a small plastic funnel, then past a springloaded flap before draining via the bodywork.

    Lift the flap - it will be full of leaves, crud etc.

    Why are they there? i can only guess to stop leaves rotting against the guards etc, allowing water to fully drain away. But why not use a fine mesh?

    Good point mine are always full of leaves. Quite easy to clean though.
