    Spotted!!!

I think we need a thread with cool land rovers we've spotted anywhere in the world. Whenever I saw one overseas I took a pic if possible.

    So.......here goes.

First two at Disneyworld in Florida USA.

This one at Undara lava tubes in north Qld.

Looks like no-one has ever seen a Land Rover overseas or any interesting ones worth mentioning

LOL, Chris you look such the tourist in photo one
Most of the Landies l have seen overseas, have been in the Middle East.
Our Arab friends love Rangies, and you see them all over the place.
I have a friend in Dubai, who goes up to Abu Dhabi for business every couple of weeks.
The trip normally takes around 1.40 at around 120kph.
He sits in his Supercharged Rangie at 240kph on average,
About a week later he normally recieves an inventory of speeding tickets.
He does not care, as no demerit points in the UAE.
I did the trip in a Mazda Van at 140kph on the same road, and nearly s**t myself.
l could do it in a rangie, but not an econovan
    Cheers Dave

Stop it Harry.....theres only a few here who know what a Vanwall was let alone a Vanguard. And for the ignorant(meant in a nice way) the two are not related.

Who would want to see a pic of a vanguard? I think my post is a brilliant idea so a pat on the back for me on my own.

    thanks for the link grumpy,
those pics are the best colour shots i've seen to date of a vanwall,
and the first i have seen of a restored car in colour.

for all the money spent in restoring that vanwall, why did the dickhead tie the cables and plug leads with cable ties?

something that should definatly not be on a restoration of that quality.
i did notice a few other wrongs, but will leave my grump at that.

and yes, a splendid racing car, i have been in love with them since i was a little kid.

A proper racing car of the time when if you crashed you didn't walk away and often died.
Petrol tanks all around you and a spidery tube frame with often not even a roll bar.
