    EGR Value

    Hi Guys,

I have a 2.4 Puma and have an issue my EGR Value.... with theses waste of time designs.... What is the best option. Mine is noisy etc. Is it better to replace or close off. Any feedback will be much appreciated.

    Cheers

    Replace

I would replace it By closing it off you could pressurize the engine and cause oil leaks.

With the 2.4 puma motor you will cause a fault to flash up if you close it off. There is a thread in the 110 Defender forum on how to safely bypass it as a few guys have done some serious research and testing on it. A new one is probably the safer option.
    Cheers Ian
