    Yeah yeah yeah

SO SORRY GUYS! but I must say I did text Outlaw the night before. Right after him and Masayo got home from the Ballet in Brisbane to be exact.

Text message as follows 'Hey mate. Me need sleep bad. Will be a couple of hours behind ya tomorrow. Call ya on way'

As you can see it that was at fault here

Glad everyone had a blast anyways.

I will get out of bed for the next run (hopefully not blinkin 8am sunday morning! its hard for the ones that work 6 days!)

    cheers

Guess thats what you get with the "Boy (Camo) that Cries Wolf too often"

Okay not as many pics as i thought but hopefully you've all seen Aquarangys brilliant vid (even if not showing enough of me).

And here are a couple pics we did have... any from anyone else?

    Hey Camo

No problem - no harm done - we got there (Even if I did end up leading for a while) - we all played - all had fun - all came away with damage and most important taken the P s out of you and ready to go back for more.

To me thats a great day out, even less panel damage letting my daughter learn her first 4x4 drive .

So wheres the trip report on how the damage was done , geez Hardy hope the insurance is in place . Maybe I should get a Defender now . What was major cause of damage ie the tracks, slippery, not enough space? Looks like Ill be knocked out of the running now for the Ding tally

    Regards

All the above Stevo... tricky tracks, those damn jumping trees that have a habit of moving on you, slippery bits... just a range of things...

Great thing about this area though is that there are easy tracks for stock vehicles to be able to go where we go, or can choose the tougher options so is completely up to the individual driver to determine if they're capable or not.

    All fun and games

and yes you should get a defender... the GCLRO Defender Brotherhood is growing and will start having it's own get-togethers shortly

No I'm not a member, so I suppose my panel damage is categorised as a "Ring-In-Ding"

Here is a picture although it's much noicer in real life...

Thanks for a good day out fellas - no doubt you'll see me at the next meeting.

err a dunno about getting a defender.. if you are after a decent 4x4 you seriously can't go past a Rangy (any sort) or second best a D2 Disco. But a Defender..geez they are bumpy and noisey and as aerodynamic as a carton of beer with wheels on it. But thats what I think (little bias since I own a Classic)

So wheres the trip report on how the damage was done .Stevo.

Outlaw will have that done soon.

I think most damage was done by stupidity & wreckless driving. Josh knew the tree was there and Harry even told him that he will hit..but no..he still had to do it! I can't talk. I turned sideways on a hill and rear tyre slid into a rut and smashed the **** end into a bank (on same hill josh hit his roof on)

Can't wait to get back out there again soon since I missed out on half of the day hehe

Ill be out for the next one, most likely in the new set of wheels, whatever that maybe . Im getting the rear done on the D3 in a cuppla weeks, so at this stage wouldnt want to add to the ding tally. Thanks for the pics, vids and story guys, just gets me chomping at the bit for the next off road adventure.

    Regards

Annette and I had a fantastic day watching all the excitement over a coffee in the bush. Harry lost a LHR bar end as well, My Rangie was parked up so appears that I was the only one with no damage. Camo I had the pressure of driving the Tree line 110 home for some mods. hehe it will end up a rangie by the time I finish with it. Have all the replacement panels ready.
