God if I only had my bloody magnet on a stick. I got the car onto the hoist today and stripped it down and the broken piece of stub axle fell out of the CV joint. It would have come out no problem oh well.

Now Harry never did tell us how he very nearly put the disco on its roof. $20 he was right footing it on those ruts and it jumped out and the back stayed in and put him sideways?????.

Good to see everyone had an interesting time. My broken stub axle has taken a back seat to Hardys door reshaping.

    Bring on Coffs harbour.

    Regards Justin

i wasn't going to talk about that.
um er, no right foot, it was puttering along and i decided to avoid the ruts and put all wheels on the high bit.
well wouldn't you know it, the back slipped down into the rut and the front decided to climb the bank, before i realised it the thing was looking askew and as i had been distracted by something in the car, i found myself getting teetery, and brought it to a stop as you saw.
thats why i needed an observer, 'cause the last bit i actually missed and didn't quite know how to reverse the situation - it felt like the whole lot was on its way but got stopped by the back bar. i was really thinking that a rope was necessary to stop it going further. a ute conversion came to mind as i thought about the damage.
thanks for your assistance, josh and justin, and others -didn't know who, i could only see feet.
    Safe Travels

    X - Box,
We need a defender to come to Coffs Harbour. So you will need to book the 11th - 14th August off.
