I was under the impression that Maxi drive don't manufacture fron't diff locks for the Series II Disco anymore . They have a problem with the quality of manufacture of the hubs. You need the hubs to install the axels and you need the stronger axels to install the diff lock.

I have a rear Maxidrive unit installed and would love to have installed a front locker when I had the 4.11 CWPs installed.

Let me know if you know any different.

Not sure where you heard that Kelvin, I priced the front of my D2 up with Mal at Maxi Drive a couple of weeks ago.....still selling them then. I'd be very surprised if he is no longer making them.......and annoyed as I'm planning on fitting one hopefully early 2007.

Any one after and ready to buy lockers (s/h air or maxi) or tyres (s/h 33 or 35)? There has been a few second hand items around that i have not had the money to grab but thought i would get interest from everyone so if i see anything i can let you all know. If you are looking let me know what you are looking to spend on each item. For the lockers let me know what car as most of the ones i have seen are 10 spline (so early disco or rangie from what i know). Just thought i would put it out there.

There are a number of us on AULRO looking at getting some Flares for UK, similar to LRA ones but made from Flexible Plastic and not fibreglass. Price is looking to be about $560 landed but we are looking to see if we can get a bulk order and save on this price.

I am currently waiting on further info for the portal hubs which unfortunately are currently not available. If anyone is interested in purchasing any maxi drive items soon let me know I will have a discussion with Mal & Paula and maybe be able to work out a group buy price.
I need definate buyers, not people that are thinking or wishing to buy some lockers etc etc, as I dont wish to waste both my own or Mals time. As a reference the lockers are usually $2000 for supply only each end, then in the front you add $300 for drive flanges and some models (id reccomend it anyways) you will need to source AEU2522 cvs (out of defender) to be fit, and then you have labour ontop of all this.
MD gear isnt cheap, but it is IMHO the best.

I believe from what I read in another Thread that Mick G has a discounted item for sale. Fully equipped Kick Ass D2 with the works for only $14,000.
You wont find a better deal.
