Good idea Inc, Louis is this something you can organise being the closest to the hospital? I'll transfer some dollars into your account!
Regards
Stevo
a suggestion was to pay for his tv, as he'll find it difficult to read a magazine etc. i will find out about flowers etc and get back to you.
surely the club can pay for it but we can't do eftpos or internet banking (club not set up for that) , so stevo - might call on you to pay then club will reimburse you later.
I'll try to suss everything out today.
In the meantime thanks for your concern and i'll pass all the good wishes on to him.
For those who don't know, Josh suffers from an ongoing (currently incurable) intestinal disease, and this is the second op he's had to combat it. Let's just say it is serious, but like his 'fender - he will pull through!
Got sms from Josh, he is feeling a bit more alert today, which is good to hear,
Regards
Stevo

Hey Louis, happy to help in any way needed. Let me know if you need to use someone CC etc or if you need help organising anything. Does he have internet in Hospital?
Well, i got to see Josh at about 5pm.
He is looking ok (as well as can be after a big op) and is wired up like a HSE D3 with ACE. HDC. ABS. SATNAV, and avery conceivable thing you can think of. Has tens of 1000's of $$ worth of machinery wired up to him.
He was looking very tired and i could see he's very drained, but he still has his sense of humour and should come through fine - given some time obviously.
I got the idea flowers won't really hack it (he's not that kind of person) but he did hint that we can fix his locker and install the radio!!!
Somehow i think we should get Masayo some flowers - she has been through a lot with him as well. Josh has games and magazines to keep him busy but says he's too tired to bother. We should get him a card from GCLRO.....
As far as the op goes - he's been too drugged till now so does'nt quite know the full extent of the outcome, he will speak to doctor later.
I will pop in again on monday and report on further developments.
I did convey all your best wishes and he appreciates it a lot.
It's going to be a long haul, but Josh will come good as usual![]()
Hey Louis, Does Rick have his locker ready to fit? I will chuck in $50 towards the fitting, and I'm sure it will not take too many other members to do the same before we have the funds needed. We can then get the car to Ricks and the locker installed before he gets out. I'm also happy to do any work required on a radio install. Just let me know how i can help.
Yep count me in for 50-100 bucks for fitting. With a few of us we will be able to get the locker fitted for him id say
Camo
2004 Black Range Rover L322 Diesel
$50 bucks from me, will be good to have it ready for when he comes out.
