My folks live in the Lockyer Valley, so I guess I know the area a little bit. I have been to Lockyer SF twice, one trip report on here somewhere. As far as I know any registerd vehicle is allowed in there, and yes old coach road has some good little sections to have fun. They have only been cracking down on motorbikes, due to the closure of Black Duck there has been more motorbike activity in the area. I guess it will pay just to find out what is going on with regard to vehicles beig allowed in the area.

The last time we went there, we started at Helidon and followed the road and turned off onto Old Coach Road and exited the forest. You can keep following that road (I'll find out the name of it) and it comes out on Gatton-Esk road. Now I am not sure if there are anymore tracks in there, looking at a map it is a pretty big place.

If you were to do a trip there, I would suggest starting on Old Coach road (from Gatton side) and then eventually progressing through to Ravensbourne National Park and coming back via Murphys Creek, theres some exiting tracks in here. Then come back to Brisbane via the Warrego Highway.
Mark, you might know how to get to Ravensbourne from Lockyer SF as I don't.

OR we could come back through Lockyer SF, like Mark and others did last year.

    Good work Hendrik,
As club meeting is coming up soon, may be worth a throw around the room to see what interest we get.
    Cheers Dave

3hr Creek is a bit of an expedition really, especially only with 33's and 1 locker so I would avoid that to start with. (its also harder than the BC i recall)

Teacup (I think) is the one that Grimace and I went up on Saturday, and is a nice drive. Not sure Ive done the BC one.

There are plenty of nice tracks we could do I reckon.
