Well if you and Trav are so confident perhaps the Discos should get a 5% points start ?

Well I have had a word with a few of the marshalls behind the scenes and I can safetly say you guys should be pleased with the comments.

The opinion is Rovernutters were one of the most organised teams for this years event. You also would have rivalled first place getters in the 3 recoveries stage (Tom was marshall there, he said you provided many laughs).

Now all this talk of two teams next year Discos V Range Rovers..... I think it's a great idea.

I think we also noted that this trip was the first that had the Rangie owners equalling or out numbering the disco owners... i think!

Once again, not much i can say that has not already been said. Thanks to Harry for doing a fantastic job of manager all weekend, stand out performance, Justin and Greg for leading the way, Bolts for riding shotgun in the Disco, and Trav and Camo for doing a fine job in the Dunga. Was a great (but tiring) weekend which i enjoyed thoroughly.......great experience.

Grimace and Jess.....you two are stars we would not have done it without you Spectators.......thanks for taking the time to come down and cheer us on, was great to have some familiar faces to put us at ease while tackling some pretty awesome obstacles.

All in all I am proud of the Team, Proud of the Club, and Proud of the capability of the brand of car we all love to drive. We conducted ourselves exactly how intended, had fun, and drove home

Maybe we could get a Discovery Team and a Range Rover Team, we could then hear the end of the Range Rover’s are better than Discos argument when the Disco’s beat the Range’s
Although I am getting confident that the disco will follow the Rangie to the end of the earth and back be careful when challenging a Rangie as we should all know it is more down to Driver ability then that of the car. Watching Justin and Greg perform as a team was inspiring and it would take one hell of a car (of any brand and level of modification) to give them a run for their money I am just happy that i managed to stay close enough to watch, learn and follow

And that is what it is all about at the end of the day.....we walk away with our head up high with others knowing what we are all about. We learnt a lot over the weekend which was what i wanted to get out of the event.

Bring on the meeting so i can see some more Vids and Pics

Come on guys this is not preschool , everybody knows a disco is just a rangie with a bump on its head . All in all both car are great but it still comes down to driver ability

As Stikman said you have to go along way to beat a combo of driver and machine. This year worked so well as each had teams that understood the machines they were in with Justin/Greg both know rangies as does Trav/Camo and stikman/bolts in the disco. It comes down to those type combination's and I for one think that's how we need to keep them for next event.

As to taking on the rangie / disco fight mmmmmm i would be sitting in middle having being a disco man for many years but now find myself looking at a rangie for my next vehicle,

I agree, I would be happy to keep the team as is although I would be more keen to pitch in more with a healthier ankle next time (will be strapping up both ankles and suitable footwear next year too).
