Well you guys pretty much said it all

Was an awesome weekend with a great bunch of people. Grimace and Jess, top job on the food prep (beef stroganoff was yum) and Killer for his amazing efforts, some long hours you put in there.

Cheers to our team and mainly Harry as manager. Harry didn't have a break all weekend. Top job

Well most of need to said has been said already, what a great weekend and shows what a great club we have.

Start with the thanks - Big one to harry as team manager kept us going and on track to each stage and sorting out the teams events, Jess and Grimace - who kept and ran one of best camp set ups, with food, drinks and being up feeding us at any hour of the day or night we required it, with out them we as team would not have eaten....... To the support crew thanks for coming down and cheering us on, good to have support at any time, Mick thanks for your time as without people working the stages we would not have a comp.
To the team,what a great effort guys thanks for allowing me to be part of a great team which just worked so well the whole weekend even when tired sore and stiff, but we all kept going and all just pulled their weight... (MickG thanks for pulling out - you loss my gain ) .

We have learnt a lot about this weekend and what some people call "road legal" - we were from day one we were up against non std vehicles in every way, I know we were the only one make team, we were also one of the very few teams that drove our cars into the park and then drove them home afterwards, everyone else seemed to trailer them in and trailer them out again at the end in a lot worse condition that they drove in, our damage was very minor compared to everyone else, but then we are Landrovers

In all there were 38 stages over 2days and nights, on the 1st night was 8 stages of tasks, no driving at all, and we now know not to bother doing them next year as it nearly killed all of us in the 1st night, the events included tug of war, attach snap straps blind folded ect ect, after the tug of war which had to be pulled for 10 mins, it nearly killed all of us we should have just pulled the pin and head back to camp but in true spirit we kept going and completed 7 of 8 stages. That got us back to camp at 11:30pm.

Saturday was a call at 5:30am for a drivers meeting at 6:00am and the 1st event at 6:30am. So a quick bite and we are onto the 1st stage and away we went for the day, some very interesting task and some equal interesting drives every even was timed and even collecting you next stage was timed as well............ We did building sea saw track,winching a car backwards using your own winch forward, hill climbs, winching 3 cars up a hill, hand winch a car using a hi lift jack (which we won that stage) By the end of the day we were all very drained both physically and mentally and called it a day by 4:45pm heading back to camp. Drivers briefing at 6:30pm and the night stages were on at 7:30pm the team called it a night and sat out the night stages, which we were gald we did as the next morning the carnage for the night stage was very high and some teams did not get back till after 2:00am.

The next morning we were on the go at 6:00am again and off to the 1st stage by 7:00am, this was a much better day as it was more what our club is about and we took on all the driving stages , which included a 3 recover challenge using different methods of recover on the 3 vehicles, a flat out race over the motor cross course, gps way points, dead car tow over an obstical course. We were going well till stikman and I drove over some grass looking for gps point and bent the steering arm, at which time it was 12:30 time for lunch and close of the event.

We headed back to camp all tired and very dusty to fix cars, change tyres, pack up camp, head over for prize giving and raffles and then head home at around 5:00pm.

Of the 38 stages we completed around 25 of them and yet still pulled 13 place and won 1 stage as well, but more important the club was held in good light we learnt a lot and we all drove out in the vehicles that we competed in all weekend.

Thanks to the club for its support and we look forward to the next event.

Well firstly thank you for all the kind comments re the camp crew!

I myself having completed one logan challenge years ago though I had prepared/warned the boys for what may have been a head of them prior to the competition. I WAS WRONG.

This years event was, in my humble opinion, way more taxing on both the human body and the mechanicals.

The team as a whole endured some pretty intense scenarios, physically working their bodys to the ground. The time given for rest was minimal.
I know for next year, if it is goin to be this hard, a very large water cooler will be introduced and brought to the staging area through out the day.
I felt for the guys when they would return to camp battered and buggered. I do know that everyone has learnt a lot from the last three days, myself included.
I just want to congratulate the team on their efforts, the work they put in to have a go at this was simply outstanding.

It was a shame not being able to see as much as I would have liked, but I have known the logan challenge has never been a spectator friendly event.

I am in two minds about the position to take next year. Either way I definately want to be there, and hopefully fluffy can come too, I missed her over the weekend.

To Killer, well done and top effort of volunteering your time to marshall, sorry we missed you on lunch saturday, I was told they had a feed for you and when I learnt that was not the case I felt real stink. I'll buy you a beer at the next meeting, hoping to make up for it

Thanks to all for making this weekend yet another super friendly time out bush, I think we all have to give Linda heaps cause she missed out on soo much.

Sounds like you guys had a great time showing everyone how great landies are wish i had of been able to make it , well maybe next time we maybe able to get two teems together .

Thanks guys for putting the team together and showing everyone how good the Land Rover product can perform. I think you guys did the club proud, you did very well in some stages, and had very good sportsmanship. The winching stage I was on, there was only two teams which did the course without penalties, Rovernutters was one, the other was the team that won the stage, so well done guys.
A huge thanks to Jess and Grimace for your efforts in feeding us all. I may have missed out on a meal or two, but what I did have was sensational, don't feel bad about me not getting lunch on the Saturday, I wasn;t expecting you to bring it to me (or even know where I was), it would have been nice for the organisers to have looked after us a little better though.
In all I had a great weekend, with some great company, but I am totally exhausted now. Will I do it again next year? Maybe. It would be great if we could get more of us to volunteer as Marshalls next year, but it is a lot of effort and all you get is a thank you and a t-shirt (and a warm fuzzy feeling that you helped make the event happen).

Harry had story after story
He has had a good weekend if he has not runs out of stories by lunch.
You all must have had a GREAT weekend because the stories were still coming thick and fast all day.
It must have been hard work because he was nearly asleep by 2:30 knocking off work at 3 to go home to sleep.

Hopeful we can get a second team for next year.

Maybe we could get a Discovery Team and a Range Rover Team, we could then hear the end of the Range Rover’s are better than Discos argument when the Disco’s beat the Range’s
