    Levuka September 19-20th

Just got back and uploaded the pictures from Levuka.

Thanks to everyone for a great trip. We had an excellent turnout with 16 cars, and a great group of people as always.

Thanks for the patience as this was the first trip I have lead and I now have a good idea of how much is involved! Got some ideas for improvements for the next one!

Friday Night was excellent round the fire. We didnt get there till about 8.30pm in our little convoy of Rod(BigDog) Grimace and Jess, and Sam and I, and nearly everyone else was there already.

Didnt go to bed until about 1.30am and then up at about 6am on Saturday.

So anyway here are some pics I took. There should be loads as I saw plenty of cameras during the weekend.

Camp site (taken at luchtime today so some people had gone)

Saw a lot of wildlife aswell. The place was teeming with snakes and lizards:

    Thanks everyone

    Well
Back home and doing the normal unpacking, cleaning bla bla.
Was another great trip with great people. Must admit the campfire banter was one of the funiest I have heard. Stevo, Pete and Grimace had everyone ****ing themselves for hours each night. I think I had more fun around the fire than I did driving ( It was very dry).
We had a few small glitches with various vehicles, but nothing that couldn't be sorted. Saw a heap of snakes and lizards which kept the kids amused and on their toes.
As always its a pleasure to have a weekend away with such good people. It is a credit to the club and its members.
It was also touching to see the glazed eyes of the Disco owners every time the Classic Rangies tackled the terrain with ease and style.

    Till the next trip

    AWESOME PICS AND TRIP!!
I loved this trip, it was good to get away for a change. We did some great tracks and it was a lot of fun.
The ecu oil issue was a minor misshap, but at least I got home. (i think Rod might have a pic of oil pouing out of my ecu) Thanks Pete and Justin for helping out.
Another thanks goes to Pete, John and Justin for winching/snatching me out of trouble on 3 occations.

Thanks to everyone for making it such a great trip...this club is awesome.

    Great Trip

Hey Guys, What a top spot
The Gumboot seemed to do the job pretty well, but needs a bit more clearance. (Stay tunned)
Think about half of Levuka is on the front grass after the girny.
Thanks very much to Pete for a great trip & to all of the participants who were an absolute pleasure to be associated with.
And yes the campfire banter was very entertaining !!!!!!!!!!!!
Look forward in the next installment.
    Go the C**K
