    The Pacific

    For those of you that loved Band Of Brothers then The Pacific is a must see. I have been hanging out for this for some time. Made by Hanks and Speilberg the Pacific Follows a similar theme of band of brothers and this time focuses on the war in the Pacific in much the same way Band Of Brothers focused on Ezy Company and their experiences in WWII.

    Starts at 8:30pm tonight on Ch7 and goes for 2hrs. Matt

    The wife I were just discussing this over dinner, we were having guesses of how many ads they'd stick in. I said no way could they stretch this to 2 hours. Channel 7 however have managed to prove me wrong and double a 1 hour show with ads.

    thats very tru,, thats why i am not watching it on the tv,, and down load it instead,, and in very good 720p witch is far better then the tv,,, plus iv allready seen the first 4 eps,,

    It's not in the same spirit of BOB, not all fighting and guns however the first episode will satisfy those that are looking for this. The subsequent episodes concentrate on character development and the mental anguish of war. For me I'm beginning to understand that at times during the war the Japanese were the least of their problems.

    This is only my impression over the first 4 episodes. Number 5 tonight.

    i really enjoyed it....have it on systems link on foxtel that way I can fast forward the ads
