    Arr,the name of the track had gone from my memory...

    The sth to nth trip creek crossing is more difficult than the other way though.

    yes going in from Archer river is great then we went out along the Frenchmans Track towing a Hi-lux with no 4WD across the Pascoe River with the Disco

    there is also the Batavia Downs road into/from Weipa...make sure you get the Hema Map of the cape all these roads are on it

    Thanks Mrs HH, we would certainly like to do that track as we are both interested gold detecting and we have been told that gold has been found in the area, so much to see with so little time!! thanks Garry & Georgie.
