    Can anyone beat this?

The winter just gone by was one of the winterest winters we have had in years. Lots of wind, rain, snow and then packed ice. I was making sure that the Defender was still stocked with cans of deicer, spare screen wash etc. I ventured in to the cubbybox, which is normally the domain of the Mrs, where I found two tubes of sun screen and a pair of sunglasses. Even for my family I regard that as odd.

Maybe like finding a pair of shoes in a Darwin resident's car, or a coat and tie in one from North Queensland?

Of course. Range Rover owners must wear one when out and about in their vehicle. Normally they should wear the tie of their regiment, their Oxford/Cambridge college, their London club, or their school Old Boys Association.

For casual or sporting occasions like mowing the yard, slipping down to the pub, or spectating, the tie of one's Hunt; Rugby, Golf, or Yacht Club, the BRDC, London Rowing, or the sports tie of your college should suffice.

For any further information regarding correct dress for RR owners, ask Uncle Ho. I have ensured he is full bottle on this and will pass on his knowledge.
