    Carbs off a 3.5L V8

First time trying to remove the Strombergs off a 3.5L V8 from a 75 Rangie

Whats the trick to undoing that bottom bolt that's hidden behind part of the carb body?

When I did mine, I had to cut a spanner in half to access one of the bolts. Can't remember if it was that one though.

stubby, narrow profile ratchet ring spanner or a C spanner.

There is a specialist spanner for it but most bloke just cut a R/OE to about 2 inches long.

My special tool was an open end spanner bent to about 20degrees just above the head.
