A Humble Thanks
Anyone who has moved house, knows what a traumatic experience this can be. To move interstate and shift cars, workshop and sundry detritus can double the stress.
I moved probably 70% of my belongings this weekend, a distance of 700k's, which involved a mammoth effort by a fantastic few. 4 vehicles, towing 4 large trailers. One broke down, which entailed a back track for another vehicle to retrieve the 4th trailer and then the problem of getting this trailer back to Brisbane with only 3 tow cars. A couple of phone calls, and an AULRO local came to the rescue, transporting the trailer a few hundred k's north, where a Brisbane member had travelled sth to complete the recovery.
A number of people offered help and this was appreciated, but to the ones who did assist, my heartfelt thanks to you all. No names, as you all know who you are, but please give yourselves a large pat on the back from me. I could not have done it without you all.
The rest of my stuff, I hope to move in 3 weeks, But never again.
Thank you.
