SubscriberNissan actually used to sell Patrols in Saudi when I was there with a dedicated sand tyre.
It was very similar to an aircraft tyre with a round profile and parallel tread sipes/grooves.
They would have had NO traction on a wet road.
In any case you lose. No way can you beat a Suzi in sand. Pay him now and don't spend the $ on tyres.
