    I will second Blknight on that,and suggest you look at aircraft tyres about 7.50 8.25 x16's

    I'm pretty sure Len Beadell used aircraft tyres on his landrovers. not much of what we would consider tread and he went everywhere, often by himself. Don

    Nissan actually used to sell Patrols in Saudi when I was there with a dedicated sand tyre.

    It was very similar to an aircraft tyre with a round profile and parallel tread sipes/grooves.

    They would have had NO traction on a wet road.

    In any case you lose. No way can you beat a Suzi in sand. Pay him now and don't spend the $ on tyres.

    I reckon' he is right too...

    Owning several LRs (all good on sand) and the Suzuki....
