In NSW there is provision for community groups to hold fireworks displays. Years ago when I was in Rotaract we used to hold a cracker night legally. Maybe something a 4wd club might want to do for it's members?

There must be some way of organising it here in NSW, because we were treated to a fantastic display from our back verandah just last Saturday night. It was a couple of kilometres away, so no "details" except that it was big and good and no doubt expensive. Don
My BIL was registered to purchase fireworks, did displays for mates and businesses at cost of materials only, had a cool firing box by brother designed and constructed. In the end though, the public liability killed his hobby, pretty much doubled each year.
