You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

I like the breadth of this forum. If it was just about the vehicles there'd be very little interest. Do you only talk about LRs with friends you've made here when face-to-face? I certainly don't. I think it's also important to be Land Rover owners but not feel a need to be constantly justifying the point. LR vs others arguments are very tiring and I think some of the LR owners who violently feel the need to argue their point perpetuate the whole debate for the opposition.

That said, I don't think an internet forum is the place to talk about your financial situation, relationship problems and mental health issues.

I think a Land Rover forum is there to discuss all things Land Rover - and maybe all things full stop. But comments both positive and negative should be permitted without accusation of rubbishing the brand.

Personally, I wish there were less divisive political or contentious threads - but again, if you don't want to participate, just don't read them. I say anything is OK as long as it doesn't contravene the forum rules, which are well considered.

i know at times it gets a bit extreme but its a bit like when you look at the past and mistakes you learn from them so by hearing people whinging about things does help others
