    Soccer World Cup

    This evening it's Australia vs Germany at 20H30 RSA time.
    That would be very, very late in Australia. Around midnight.

    How is the atmosphere in RSA? Uganda is rocking and, I'd never considered Uganda to have been as soccer crazy as some other places in Africa. I can only imagine how it is in Ghana.

    Unfortunately, I'm in the air when the Australia V Germany game starts, so I'll find out the result when I get to Dubai. Just hope that as many African sides can keep going as far as they can....Africa will go crazy, in a good way.

    Actually I think it will be 4.30am here when the match kicks off. Wish I could stay up to watch, but I have an early start tomorrow.

    Hi BBC,
    The atmosphere is crasy. Most cars has RSA flags on them and then quite a lot of other countries too. The most I have seen is from Brazil, Portugal and England.
    My company took us for a visit to Soccer City in Soweto.
    Quite a amazing place and huge.

    Yes and in the US too, but its proper term is Football, far too much copying of US terminology here.

    England's game this morning was a bit of a let down, hope the Roo's do better in the morning...
