    Thanks Hal.
Any chance you could elaborate on what was required to fit the body to chassis in this thread:

    Thanks, Dave.

    G'Day All.
Aussie Distributer for Sahara (D1 based) and Outbak (Vitara based) has been appointed. No reply from them yet, only confirmation from JCF in UK.
Out of interest, the Defender style Flip Front clip (firewall forward) is available for GBP1000 +duties etc.
Will get a link, Landed prices and ADR issues when they get back to me.
    Dave.

Barefoot Dave - will be interested to see the local pricing
These would be best imported flat packed with some assembly required.

Here is a pic (colour mock up in MS paint) of our 100 inch RRC/Series 3 Stage One Hybrid.

89 Orange Rangie UTE - our play thing - sadly now sold
    75 Rangie/Series/Hybrid/LS3 - Bumblebee with a sting!!!!
2018 RRS - The new touring vehicle - replaces 2012 RRS

Skiboy, Pricing will be interesting. I am expecting GBP2800+VAT+Shipping+markup=AU$ a fair bit.
    Like your mock-up!
I'm considering painting a black stripe down my windscreen to give it the series look ; ))
Thanks for your input in the Chassis thread.
    Dave.

    No prob

Re Pricing - I expect that will not be viable BUT as a benchmark note that when I went looking for defender bits for my project I was quoted in excess of $5k AUD to get front panels, bonnet, firewall, and cab from second hand wrecked vehicles by several wrecker. So 5-6k not unreasonable.

Nevertheless I would have thought that these could be flat pack manufactured in China fairly cheaply then sold with assembly instructions/templates on how to cut the Disco.

Similarly it surprises me that no one has made a RRC/Disco to ute conversion kit - ie a pressed rear wall and maybe a roof section.
