Winterising
Heading up to the snow next week and again a few more times hopefully during the ski season.
Noted the thread on winter diesel and chains but is there anything else that is required? Does the standard coolant have sufficient anti-freeze properties? Should I add something to the washer bottle?

I have only ever used windscreen washer additive like Bars and have not had a problem (at least down to about -5C). Radiator should be good to about -8C. Any decent mechanic should have an hydrometer to determine the concentration of glycol you have in the rad water. Easy enough then to determine its freezing point.
