    Thanks I just have purchased a late 09 silver five door DSG ex demo,3000kms on the clock with full VW warranty till 2015 or 175,000kms, tint, floor mats, first log book service, delivered to WA from NSW, for $50k flat, it really is a buyers market, I had to fight black and blue to get it though.....I think I might make heckling car salesmen my new pass time love it...     For exhausts, should you wish to venture that way, the only one to go for that is worth having is a Remus, they are engineered, tested and proven.
    German of course and sound like an orchestre.

    Volvo V70 Cross Country. Ticks all the boxes. Turbo 5 petrol or diesel, second to none safety, practicallity, Auto, well built, not German, luxurious and good to drive. I'd have one for the missus if the Disco was'nt costing me so much.

    Why, Ford sold Volvo to a chines company back in March for 1/4 of what they paid 9 years ago.
    The future is very uncertain, design and parts will be same but on the flipside, it could go similar to Tata new owners of Landrover who have turned matters around and only paid 1.8 billion for it, a tad more than Volvo.

    Why compare a slow brick with a cut snake.
    Oh well, each to their own.
