    G'day Bucko's Ma

Please wish Ron the very best from myself and "the Management" (Sue) I can attest to Ron's love of a drop of red,and can remember sharing an evening at Polo Flats Cooma in 2008,around a fire drum at the 60th of Landrover. Of coarse he would dislike poor spelling and grammer, as he was edumacated at Salisbury State High Brisbane in an era when the main thing was Reading, Writing, Arithmatic and your hands paid the price for poor performance I am ex-Balmoral State High.

I wasn't on line last night so missed that he went into hospital, what is/was the problem.

As for goss-Hmmm-well he does like red wine, blondes and big boobs (am I allowed to say that here?) Dislikes poor spelling and grammar. Likes P38 Rovers for some strange reason and spends a lot of time hiding stuff from me. Nearly everything he buys is faulty and is the worlds greatest ditherer. I am a saint to live with him and only do this so some other poor female doesn't have to.
Should every other female in the country send you 20c a week, back-dated to the day you were married.
Please wish Ron a speedy recovery. Is he spell checking his chart? I'll wager some of the medical words will stretch Ron's spelling prowess.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

Quick update-he's in recovery and they were able to do the keyhole surgery so the stay should only be about 5 days. So all went pretty well. I'll see what he looks like tomorrow after a nights sleep.
Keep those 20c coming!! I like that idea very much
Ron was diagnosed with a very, very early bowel cancer and has had about 20cm of bowel removed plus whatever other bits are attached that bit of bowel. He had to give up red wine these last few weeks and walk (gasp!) to lose some weight otherwise it was a big cut right down to the vitals!! The scalpel may have slipped!!

So...........the message for all you guys over 40-get yourself checked.

Great to hear that everything going well. Please pass on our best wishes to Ron also. You never know - we may get to catch up one day on one of your trips to WA.

Oh - and SWMBO says that you are not the only one who has married to do a favour to other females.

    Cheers ............. Brian

    He hates his grandmother?!!

and the hiding stuff from you...thats normal for all landrover owners (except me--in case you are reading this Nay!!) I am surprised you found out about the P38 project car he seemed pretty sure he'd hidden it well!

Wish him well, has he had the bit of bowel removed that had a tract up to the back of his eyes?? (the one that when it opened up gave him a ****ty outlook on life!!!) Just kidding-- enjoy the break "Ma"! & welcome.

    Get well soon Ron!
